Start from our Infocenter in Lenungshammar

Lenungshammar is the “heart” of the Glaskogen nature reserve and a good starting point for your adventure.

Here at Glaskogen’s Infocenter you can get help and information about outdoor life and everything that Glaskogen offers. We are happy to advise you on suitable hiking trails, bike tours and canoe trails. Here you can also buy your Glaskogen conservation card, fishing license or your Glaskogen map, supplies for your trip, simple outdoor equipment and souvenirs.

Our campsite is right next to Glaskogen’s Infocenter with the associated service facility with shower and laundry facilities.

Here you also find the Glaskogen Canoe Center and Café Carl is only a short walk away.

The nearby lakes – Stora Gla and Övre Gla – are excellent fishing lakes. Here at the Infocenter you can rent a boat for the fishing trip and buy fishing equipment if you need.

Our Infocenter and the camping reception are open

13 January to 30 April: open weekdays 10-12 and 13-15 o’ clock

1 May to 15 June: open daily from 10 to 15 o’ clock

16 to June 30: open daily from 9 to 19 o’ clock

1 July to 17 August: open daily from 9 to 20 o’ clock

18 August to 31 August: open daily 10 to 17 o’ clock

1 September to 14 September: open daily from 10 to 15 o’ clock

15 September to 28 September: open daily 10-12 and 13-15 o´clock

29 September to 15 December: open weekdays 10-12 and 13-15 o´clock

We are completely cash-free at the Infocenter, campsite, Canoe Center and Café Carl.
